my problem was solely a hardware problem(i was receiving feedback through my speakers that was determined to be coming from inside the headunit). it is just wishful thinking on my part that they would update my unit to 3.0 without me asking for that. and i hope they solved my hardware problem, seeing they had my avic for 2.5 weeks

So long story short I started experiencing feedback through my speakers from my 90bt. I shipped my unit back to Pioneer and they shipped it out Friday, everything fixed under warranty. So heres my reason for this thread, when I talked to Pioneer Friday, the ASSURED me everything wrong with the unit was completelty fixed and will be running as well as ever. So does this mean I should be expecting them to send me my unit back with 3.0 installed on it now(it was not before) or will they be sending me a newer Pioneer model, because over the last year my 90bt NEVER ran smoothly lol. Kind of

hi, i have the 3.0 file downloaded on my macbook. i know with a mac u cannot mod the data.zip because it wont rezip it properly. does anyone know if i can just put the files on the sd card and upload them normally even though im on a mac. sorry if this question is novice but i do not want to bring my unit

i had not been on avic411 in MONTHS. i recently was checking the site and the pioneers site and ran across some things. while i am still running the original os, on http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... 90BT?tab=F you can download a firmware update. i thought verison 3.0 cost money and wasnt free? is this free download really 3.0? and i am having a ton of problems with my mic. i want to unplug it and plug it back in but idk where it connects to the unit. does it connect right to the back of it or is it tied into the wire harness? sorry for the ignorance everyone, thanks in advance!

i have had nothing but problems with my mic. people cant hear anything i say thru the mic, regardless of how close to the mic i am. VR doesnt pick up a single word i say. i havent upgraded to 3.0 due to me being a poor college student lol. any body have a remedy to this?

I have two dumb questions, sorry in advanced. A- i know it says unhook the ipod does that mean just unhook the ipod or the entire cable from the back of the unit B- do i want to install the formatted or unformatted version. im using a macbook if that means anything

mines the same way. all it will change to is either repeat or or song. i just put on shuffle and nothing repeats

ok i just drove it and now i got the parking break wired wrong message. what would the loose connection be?

I apologize for not being complete in my first post. I did all of the hardware bypass to the t. I just thought i read somewhere that if I get that message I have a bad ground

me and another member on the forum did the hardware bypass on my car today. We grounded the parking break wire to the black ground wire. Now the only function that I can't get while driving that I couldnt before is the poi function. With a DVD in I get the viewing in the front seat is prohibited but only afteril I get up to about 20 mph. I cannot input an address while driving or search for a poi. Is my problem a bad ground?

im gonna apologize ahead of time for not reading the manual, im at college and it is not with me. over the weekend i was on a road trip and needed gas and went to search for a gas station near by. problem is i couldnt find how to search for all gas stations, i could only search by brand. is there a way to search for all local gas stations?
