  1. one simple thing i would like to see, when an artist only has 1 album, just go directly into the album, theres no need to display the name of the 1 album, its redundant, just go right into the album.
  2. yea i dunno...i didnt install mine myself i had a shop do it, it was working good for like 6 weeks and just yesterday it started doing this...im wondering if its somehow related to the car being parked outside and it raining heavilily here lately (im in vancouver)... but yea i dunno maybe its the cable.. im using the one that comes with the f90bt... do you think if i used the apple one instead it would fix this??
  3. hi there, im having an issue with my f90bt...it was working fine for like 2 months but just yesterday i noticed that the music willl cut out for a split second during a song/video it happens constantly during the song, but ive noticed that it only seems to happen when the car is in motion, if its stationary, it doesnt seem to occur... anyone else have this issue?? could it be moisture getting up into the back of the deck??
  4. has anyone downloaded the POIs from poifriend.com ?? you can download them in igo 8 format which is .kml + .bmp (for icons)....do i just copy these all over to the usb and it will upload thru the f90bt?
  5. ya turning the VR off makes no difference. I started my car this morning and it noticed the ipod right away. then i went to the mall, had my car off for 15 mins, started it up, and it didnt detect it
  6. wolfbak i have the exact same issue as you. I have the f90bt using the pioneer cable that came with it and i have the 5th gen 80gb ipod video. obviously i just leave it in my glove box and when i start up it goes to the off screen on the HU and i have to unplug/replug the cable into the ipod to get it to notice it again. very frustrating...someone said try turning off the VR update, ill try it in the morning. hopefully we can fix this issue out
  7. ive burned a bunch of dvd-r/dvd+r of various tv shows movies etc, now im not sure if they are in DIVX or XVID but every disc i put in i get the file format unrecognized error... is there a certain format it should be in to play from blank dvds? also will this unit play burned DVD9s?
  8. is this normal??? when i start my car up and the f90bt boots up, i lose my remembered FM stations, AV1 is off by default (when it should say ipod), the rear speakers always default to 'full' when i want it to be on 'subwoofer' its such a hassle to have to change the settings everytime the system starts. ive noticed that if i turn off the car then power it back up again quickly, it retains the settings, but if the car is off more then 5 mins, i lose all my settings and have to set it all up again....
  9. this is probably a stupid question, i just got this HU installed, but i cant figure out how to turn off the damn repeat. only thing i can do is turn on shuffle to avoid it repeating..anyone know how i turn this repeat off
  10. hi there, I was wondering if its possible to have the f90bt rotate through a folder of startup splash images instead of having to change it each time...
  11. ok...this is why the AV1 and AV2 reset to off as well I assume....the CD causeing a restart seems to have stopped though which is good. tuesday im having them fix the bypass, so hopefully that will fix all issues. other then that I would say i love this HU
  12. hi there I just had my f90bt installed, I didnt do it myself. I believe they didnt do the bypass correctly because Im getting the error saying about my parking brake...but the real issue is everytime i insert a disc, be it audio cd, divx dvd, dvd-rom, etc, the system just reboots, sometimes several times before the video will begin to play. also it doesnt seem to play divx files on the dvd but will play it fine through the sd card. could this be caused by a misdone bypass ? thanks guys, first time poster ps. i spent a good 20mins searching trying to find an answer to this, couldn
