USB Port not working after update to 3.0, 500BT, why?

Hello Forum,

 

I have a littel Problem with my USB, after

updating my 500BT to 3.0.

 

I made the following:

1) I made from the original 2.005 a Firmwareupdate to 2.007 http://www.pioneer.de/files/support/avi ... E_6050.zip

 

 

2) Downlaoded 3.0 from avic

viewtopic.php?f=34&t=26625

 

3) Modified the 3.0 APL2 Dir with this files:

http://www.igo8.gpssoftware.us/pioneer30.htm

Ezrider, data, sys, scheme

 

 

Changed sys.txt from:

to:

type="PIONEER749EW"

My questino: #

Now my Problem, for some reason the USB Port does not work with this

APL2 dir. (If i change it back to the original its OK).

 

Any Idea why the USB Port does not work anymore?

i have a EU 500BT

Did you figure out what was wrong? I am having the same issue. I also cannot access POI's on my SD card although music will play off of it.

I am just new to all this but I have noticed that, depending on the battery supplied power, the USB (sometimes the Sd card) are not recognised.

 

In my case, I have to start the car to see the USB.

 

Just one idea.....

I've tried using the USB when it is plugged in to the car and into the house charger. The SD works and will play music, it just doesn't see my POI's. I don't know if it's the update causing this or my mods....
