Karry Posted October 21, 2009 Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 Hi all, after reading many posts I decided to install firmware 3 using the guide it appears here. The process was succesfull but when I start up the unit, the message "Starting up the unit.Please wait" never disappears and after 2 or 3 minutes the unit reboots itself. Do you have any idea about what could be happening? I'm from EU but I installed the US firmware...I think this shouldn't be a problem. Thanks in advance colleagues! I think that where your problem is...this machine is very finicky and only will install the region that it is in...However there are some mods that will make it work with other regions (do a research on site) ...I hope u did a backup...if not try to install the 2.XX firmware update from pioneer that correspond to your area and start from there (it did saved me once from bricking my unit) ohhh...GOOD LUCK!!!
