adding the #2 tells the unit that the BMP has two parts and it will divide it horizontal equally and show the upper part and when pressed will show the lower part,

How do i make the icon transparent and save it as BMP?

 

Also, on a non modded navigate map - the coord x=8 y=251 should site just above the route info, and just below next turn etc

regarding the transparency search the topic on how to make car arrow and it discusses there the process of it,

 

for the coord, you have to play with it
