orangesuburban Posted November 3, 2009 Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 hey guys, I have a f90bt, it had hacks on it before when running 2.? last night i updated to 3.0 without issues. i then updated to 3.01. as a result of 3.01 i got the "system startup in progress. please wait." message that would not go away. so i thought i would reinstall 3.0 and try it all over again. well, after redoing 3.0 now i have nothing. my unit will show the splash screen and then shut off. (the buttons lights go out and the screen goes black) i have tried to reinstall 2.? and 3.0 and nothing will work. i can get to the blue screen to install CE but i cant get to test mode. i did one time get into test mode but then the unit turned off a few seconds after. how can i get my unit working again!? 2.?, 3.0, or 3.01, anything as long as the unit turns on! thanks. hagan92 Posted November 5, 2009 Report Share Posted November 5, 2009 You will need to stay on 3.0+ I had this issue with 2.0 and had to upgrade. You might need to clear your "harddrive", search the forum on how to format it. Here is my guide.
