Mr.AlMuhairi
Hello everyone, I ran into a problem after I had bypassed my AVIC. I lost sound completly in my car. I used my factory radio and it worked fine and the speakers are all working, But when I put the avic in there everything is working except the sound. Could someone help me please!! sportsfan21
Did you ground the correct pin? There is a cell mute wire. If you grounded that pin, it would mute your sound.
Mr.AlMuhairi
I think i used that pin to ground. I will use the antenna wire. Thanks. Btw, i tried to connect an audio device through the Audio input but i didnt hear anything. I tried several wires and they were all the same.

cntrylvr79
What was done about the factory amp in that car? If you used the 70-8112 amp integrator harness, check the connection on the blue/white wire of that harness. It should be tied to the blue/white wire of the avic. If there is no blue/white wire in the toyota harness, then the blue wire in it should be tied to the blue/white of the avic. If the connection there is solid, check the fuses in the car and make sure none are blown.
Mr.AlMuhairi
I had a fuse in the engine bay that blew and i replaced it. I'll check for other fuses that are blown. I think i connected everything according to the manual, except for the parking brake sensor which i grounded. I will get back at you as soon as i take a look. Thanks for your kind reply. Mr.AlMuhairi
I checked the fuses and there is none of them blown. Any ideas?
Mr.AlMuhairi
Apparently when the fuse got blown, something got messed up in the unit and it has to be sent to a pioneer electronics repair center. Too bad for me i wont get to enjoy it when i recieve it.
