Superman
Hi All, I apologize if this has already been dealt with elsewhere, I did a quick search and didn't see anything. I have firmware 2.06 installed on my F90bt and I'm using the stock Pioneer cable. I had no trouble with my iPhone 1G, but just upgraded to the 3Gs. I understand the switch to USB pins means I won't be able to charge with my current cable, but I'm not even able to play music or control my phone. My iPhone isn't recognized at all. Any one encountered this before. The only think I can think of is that maybe it's because I'm still on 2.06 and haven't updated to 3.0? Thoughts?
abb1
First off, what cable do you have? Is it the CD-IU230V ? The F series will play the iphone 3gs but it will not charge it. Make sure that in your AV system settings that you have AV1 input set to ipod and AV2 input set to video.
Superman
I have whatever cable is the stock one that came with the deck. Idon't know what model it is. Yes, I have set the AV settings correctly. I get nothing when when I plug the phone in. Is it a firmware issue? Has anyone been able to play music from an iPhone 3Gs with v2.06?
