need help finding the right unit for me

Recommended Posts

I'm searching for a new headunit after I sold my stock one.

I'm trying to spend $500 or less, I wouldn't mind buying refurbished.

f90bt for $530 f900bt for $520 f700bt for $390, and

kenwood ddx514 for $299(doesn't have navi or bluetooth) I could add navi later.

I already have second screen in my car, and I would like to use that either with or without

connecting to the stereo for video output.

If I buy pioneer, I will probably update the fw to 3.0 soon. If I buy DDX514, I will probably save some money to buy a new phone so I can play divx and mp4 and download gps software and connect it to my screen.

I don't know which is the best choice. any suggestions?

I have both F90BT and F900BT. You can only dispaly Nav on the the AVIC, I also have a second 7" screen just below my F90BT in my Chevy. The screen has two inputs so I can display Video from the AVIC or from my rear 12" rear flip down DVD player. But you can display a DVD from the AVIC on your second screen and display Nav on the AVIC at the same time. I bought my F90BT on Ebay for $481.00 with shipping, it's a refurb but it works just great Updated to 3.0 firmware. If you get the F90BT you also get the Ipod cable with it. It's worth about $40.00 See my review on Ebay Just search F90BT. I like the F90BT you will too . My wife's car has the F900BT no extra screen. The F900BT is also a refurb and has been back to Pioneer TWICE for repair. It is working pretty good right now just need to do 3.0 upgrade. Just waiting for UPS to Get here.

Good luck Jeff R
