Newman Posted December 8, 2009 Report Share Posted December 8, 2009 I just recently got an LG enV3 for Verizon and now my nav notifies me when I have a new TXT message. I have only had the phone for a weeks so i havent had a chance to play with it much. just wanted to give a little input in case people are searching the topic. a few details about this feature and my phone: - it says "New Message"and the voice says "You have a new message" rather than "New Mail" as the users manual describes. - it always says "New Message from Unknown" instead of showing the contacts name - the manual says "If the voice language with TTS is currently used, the audible message can be output." but it does not do this for me. I wonder what it means by "the audible message can be output". Do you suppose this is just a strange translation from Japanese or do you think I need to prompt it to read the message somehow?
