ez2rock
How sensitive should the screen be on my 700? Seems to have alot of areas that require several touches to get the job done. I have calibrated several times, even had trouble getting that done. When I try to change preset channels on XM, it seems to get stuck and change the preset to current channel. It seems to be a severely delayed response. I really think it needs to go ino Pioneer. your thoughts? Phillip
jaycee23
I think it depends on what version of firmware you're running. Mine got better, more sensitive, when I did the 3.0 update.
ez2rock
Sorry. forgot to mention I'm running 3.0. When I installed it it got to 5% and hung up. I hit retry and then it hung up again at 99%. Hit retry and it finished. Could this have been the problem?
jaycee23
I would try to re-install. It couldn't hurt.
ez2rock
Just wanted to update everyone. I was getting ready to send this unit to Pioneer and realized we had left a CD in it. I plugged it back into the truck to eject and viola!!! It freakin worked like it should. All touchsreen features worked perfectly over and over. Maybe it can hear me talking sh** to it and threatening to send it in for repair?? Or maybe it needed to set unplugged for a week? either way, it seems good to go.
