  1. Hello all, Just started having a problem with my 700bt. When I turn the ignition from running to ACC the XM stations start scanning. I don't think it's the 700 because it doesn't do that with the ipod. Any ideas? Thanks
  2. If you're talking about the normal inputs. Sure. I had a 6 disc pioneer DVD player hooked up. Works like a champ. Just removed it. I actually need to sell it.
  3. Finally got the GEX-P920XM Receiver put in today. Fit exactly in the stock location under the AVIC in my 2008 F-150. I used the stock Sirius antenna. All I had to do is remove the clip and it worked perfect. I'm receiving all channels loud and clear. Phillip
  4. That's been the problem with every Pioneer i've ever owned. I use a signal booster on mine. that helps too.
  5. Yep. And then make sure you go into settings and change you AV1 input to Ipod.
  6. I thought so. I've got the cables and will impliment tonight. I'll let everyone know how it works out. I'll probably have a 6 disc DVD changer for sale. Thanks, Phillip
  7. I can't put an RCA splitter on the Video out?
  8. I have the F700. That's why I would have to split the video, it doesn't have a video out. All of the videos will be from the digital copies that come with most Blu-rays now. Or maybe downloaded from Itunes. They should be very clean.
  9. Here's the question: Should I continue to use my XDV-P90 or watch movies from my Ipod? I would like to have the ipod hooked up to play music, but I can't have both, so I need some help deciding. Is the video from the Ipod fairly clear? If I go the Ipod route, can I split the video out and send the signal to my other monitor as well? Thanks, Phillip
  10. That may be true. I do have bad luck when it comes to AVIC's.
  11. You need to use the Pioneer cable that has USB and RCA connections. Some will say buy the Apple version, but I had one and it didn't work. I just bought the Pioneer version and it worked instantly. The cable is $50 from Crutchfield. Don't forget to set AV input 1 to Ipod. Phillip
  12. Just an update. I purchased a new Pioneer cable from Crutchfield and BAM! I don't know if I had a bad Apple cable or just not compatible, but the Pioneer cable works and for now, I'm out of the doghouse.
  13. Can I use a stock Sirius antenna on a Ford F-150 for my GEX-P920XM ? I wasn't sure if there might be an adapter. Thanks, Phillip
  14. I have the official 3.0. I know I can't install the maps on a second unit, but can I install the firmware disc? If I reacll, it doesn't ask for a password until the second disc.
  15. Just wanted to update everyone. I was getting ready to send this unit to Pioneer and realized we had left a CD in it. I plugged it back into the truck to eject and viola!!! It freakin worked like it should. All touchsreen features worked perfectly over and over. Maybe it can hear me talking sh** to it and threatening to send it in for repair?? Or maybe it needed to set unplugged for a week? either way, it seems good to go.
