tlenker09 Posted December 25, 2009 Report Share Posted December 25, 2009 I have had my 500bt for a while now and just recently the unit no longer will power on. It seems to charge just fine. When I plug it in the blue light comes on and then after a while goes out (as if it were fully charged.) Then if I try to power it on by holding in the power button, it gives no response. I have also tried the reset button and removing the battery. I'm afraid the unit is either bricked or fried but should it still charge if this is the case? Any help would be greatly appreciated. urtruelove78 Posted January 6, 2011 Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Even if battery is dead it will happen. Try ordering one from online. Its cheaper then assuming your unit is dead. Also many times it happened with me that i have to hold power button literally for 1 minute and unit will boot with blinking power light.(When you see it blink release power button).
