Doctor K
I have a BlackBerry and my contact list shows up on the HU with last name first. As a result, my voice recognition likes it better when I say last name first when I want to make a call. I had it first name first before, but now I can't get it to show. Any ideas? NFrazier
I had the same problem. You have to send your contacts to the AVIC, you can't have your phone automatically transfer them. The way BB store the names in your phone, no matter how YOU set it, is last name first. So go to your BT menu in your BB and select send contacts via bluetooth then DISABLE auto-transfer or you'll have two contacts for everyone (A.K.A. you'll have Joe Smith and Smith Joe). Also make sure that your phonelist is first name first in ALL menus involving contact listing.

The only part I'm not suer how to do is the part to disable auto-transfer of contacts. I now have two entries for each contact - for example, I have "John Smith" and "Smith John". How/where do I disable auto transfer? I can't find it anywhere! Thanks!
