I had sound to but I installed Shielded RCA's sound is better but video is still nasty. Any ideas? Its in an 04 F150 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

jimmy303 Posted December 2, 2006 Report Share Posted December 2, 2006 First, what kind of inverter are you using? Is it at least a 400 watt/600watt peak power? The video cables you use also should be a true 75 ohm video cable, not just an RCA. The best audio RCA interconnects in the world make horrible video cables. Make sure you haven't run the video cable next to the power wire for the inverter, also. Try and stay about 6" from any major power wires. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
