90BT - sound skip issue

Recommended Posts

I've tried to search on sound problems, I can't seem to find anything. If there is a post on this topic, please point me in that direct and I apoligize for not being able to find it on my own.

I AVIC F90BT installed in a 2006 Honda Pilot. Hard wire bypass done, and version 2.0 firmware.

Everything works great, but when listen to music a get a music skip or blip in sound. it's a little strange, quick and just barely noticable. It's like a scratch in a CD, but it does it with IPOD, SD card, CD, DVD and Radio.

If I listen to sports talk radio I don't notice it. Only when Music is played and relatively loud.

I've been trying to find a pattern or something that would some type of power issue maybe that causing to do it. maybe a flasher or brake light or something.

It's almost not noticable, but once it's pointed out, it bothers me everytime...Every counple of seconds.

Anybody else have this issue?

okay, I search for while, wrote the post and then 5 minutes later I found my answer.

I have the Naviagtion voice sound turned down as low as possible. (kids and movies, I don't really need the voice commands) Turns out I had a route stored in there from a while ago, so the system is continually telling me to do a U-turn.

Delete the old route and sound is perfect again. ** Something so simple **

When I'm acutaslly using the route feature and travelling on that route on the GPS, the sound "blip" is really not noticeable.

I'm happy with the system again.
