bob_80
I previously owned a D3 with the external BT adapter and had no issues with it at all just installed my new z110 but having a hard time with the sound quality of the BT. Sometimes it works ok i can hear the other party loud and clear and other times it sounds like a cell phone loosing its signal very broken up . anyone else have this issue and how did you resolve it? VBLUE42
Some people believe it is an issue with the included mic and have replaced the mic with either a Garmin or Parrot mic. Apparently this has solved a lot of peoples problems. Also placement of the mic can make a difference.
bob_80
i did not know the mic would make a difference of the sound quality recieved from the other party. thought it would only make a difference on how the other party could hear me.

dawgbone
I've noticed that my wife's 08 BMW X5 BT does sound somewhat garbbled.... She says that I sound pretty darn clean(with some background noise) I would have to say that this unit may have some issue with the receiving part(phone--->HU-->speakers) I can't imagine anything else being the issue... And now that you say it, it does seem kinda strange... as I don't remember it being an issue with my previous Z3, in which my buddy now owns, and yet, it sounds awesome when talking to him, at least if he's using handsfree(will have to ask him)
