Help, how can I use Igo 8.3 instead of Igo8 ?

Help needed.

I have an f900bt with 3,01fw and map v2,00. I was looking for newer maps and tried to upload them but did not work. All I got was empty countries. If anyone could help how to upgrade to Igo 8,3 or use the new maps on my system, would be appreciated.

Hi,

AVIC with firmware <3.0 run Igo 8.0. AVIC with firmware 3.0 and newer run Igo 8.3

To use newest maps you need hacked ezrider.exe and generic worldwide licence.

I've tried with hacked ezrider and generic worldwide license, with I've found, but has not work. I couldn't start the map function, it said "system is loading, please wait" for 5 minutes, then I switched off.

Maybe I did not work correctly.

Try to start ezrider from the testmode and see if it has any errors.

Did you install any mods ?

Try to delete user files ("My Flash Disk\USER\UserData\iGo\save").

Good point, I didn't know I can run anything in test mode. I'll try it and delete user files.

So, I tried to run the ezrider.exe, and finally I got an error message: "Parse error [ expected]"

Anyone could help what to do?

Make sure you add the licenses to the ones that are already there. Do not remove the original ones.

I did. The problem was not that. Finally I solved, I had to copy all the files where the ezrider was.

Can;t i put maps on the SD and run it from there. If yes in witch folder do i have to put them?? Thx
