ste6168
Hello, I updated my iPod to the 3.0 update, and it will no longer come up on my Avic. Is this happening with everyone, and if so, is there something I can do to get it to work again?
maddog hoek
Sounds scary, what version ipod and which avic do you have? I will see if my 4th gen ipod calls for an update tonight. Post up if you find something out first.

Jeffs64
Same here Iphone 16 Gb 3gs / 32 & 8 Gb Ipod Touch all running 3.1.3 update no problems at all, F90BT & F900BT both 3.0 firmware.
ste6168
I have the F700(not sure about the letters, BT maybe?) and a 16gb iPod touch 2G. I am re-updating now and will try it again. USB drives still work with music/video when plugged in, this damn ipod is still giving me issues though. I do not have the newest 3.0 update on the Avic though, could there be an issue there? If someone has my/similar setup could you confirm? Thanks guys, lets hope I get this sorted out! hartmch
I have an 8 GB Ipod Touch 3rd Gen and I can see the ipod music on the pioneer screen and it says it's playing but I can't hear any sound. I've had the same issue on pioneer firmware 2 and 3. I haven't tried a different ipod though so it could be the ipod.

Are you using the CORRECT cable with both USB AND RCA jacks connected since the ipod control is handled with USB, but the audio comes in on the RCA jacks Have you made sure AV1 is set to ipod? Because pretty much your problem has nothing to do with the rest of the posts in this thread.
