Newman
first thing is to check the installation. make sure there arent any install errors. there could be a problem with your unit but my feeling is that something or somethingS arent connected properly. make sure you check the harness as well as the microphone. Altima Guy
I'm having the same issue with my X710 and blackberry curve. People can hear me on the phone but i can't hear them. The deck is hooked up through speaker harness(not rca's to amp). Any ideas or solutions? Thanks
Newman
What kind of cars are these units installed in? Are you able to use voice commands? Do you hear a tone when you touch buttons on the touch screen?
Altima Guy
I was installing the unit into an 08 Wrangler and couldn't hear the tone of the buttons or person on the other end of the Bluetooth. After some playing around and talking to the guys at the local shop figured out that you have to cross the front and the rear speakers(front of deck to rear of jeep and vice versa). Something to do with the stock Infinity system. Bluetooth and tones work great, only pain is that if i go to fade the sound I have to remember that its switched.
