Sinnerdee Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 I put the Z3 updated drive in my Z1 and it worked with no issue but a few weeks in my Sirius now says no subscription or rather call to subscribe. Sirius says it may have missed an update. Anyhow is there any reason the updated drive would block an update or should I be looking at the sirius device and rip my dash apart (I havent put my old drive in yet to confirm anythig) Thanks in advance Quote Link to post Share on other sites
garrettoomey Posted February 27, 2010 Report Share Posted February 27, 2010 There are no known issues on the software blocking any updates. I would confirm with the seller of your drive. I know for a fact that my drives do not have this issue. Are you sure the Sirius does not have to "reactivate". I have had different XM radios that would need "a hit" to reactivate. XM actually has a way to reactivate your own radio on their website. You also may want to pay your bill. Just kidding Quote Link to post Share on other sites
