D3 issue help!!

ok i just recently picked up a D3 unit and im have issues?

 

1. the unit keeps resetting when i push the map button pops message please wait 30sec while unit is updating and i get dvd having problems?

2. doesnt pinpoint where im at when i type in my location?

3. it just lags hard when im on GPS mode?

 

things ive done was hold the reset button for couple secs and still get issues? im also using a 80MT disc burnt copy which i have no issues with my D1. all my other functions work fine but when i go into map mode it just lags and sometime reboots by itself? i hope i didnt buy a F'd up unit.

I know you said the disc works well but I would re-load the original or another disc so that it may overwrite whichever file in the AVIC may be making it hang. I know this is not an ideal "answer" but hope it helps.
