Basic Setting for 4 Speakers vs. 4 + a Subwoofer

My previous vehicle had a subwoofer, and now my new one does not, so:

 

I am struggling with what the basic AVIC-Z1 audio settings should be set at for a 4 full-range speaker output; the AVIC Manual, is of course, no help. See below for simple questions:

 

1. I assume I set the Pre-Out to "Full"? I did find that in the manual!

2. Should I turn on Non Fading?

3. If I turn Non Fading on, what does adjusting from +6 to -6 do for me?

4. Should I use the HPF or does it matter?

5. Which Loudness should I use? Low, Medium, or High?

 

By the way, my speakers have a frequecy response of 50-20,000 Hz.
