punx_00
i've searched but havn't been able to pinpoint a solution. i installed the unit two weeks ago and has been working fine til now. it seems that any time my phone (iphone 3g) connects via bluetooth to the unit, a minute later the unit will turn off and turn back on to the splash screen. i've tried turning off the bluetooth on my phone and it seems to fix this problem, but that renders my bluetooth capabilities useless... i've tried unpairing and re-pairing the phone, but the same problem happens. system restore also doesn't seem to fix anything. anyone experience this problem and has a fix? Thanks
VBLUE42
Not a common problem so you need to see about having your unit exchanged as defective.
punx_00
looks like i found my solution: i just found it odd that the unit was working flawlessly and all of a sudden it started to crap out on me... so i retraced my steps on what i might have done to cause this... I downloaded the avic feeds app for the iPhone! after i deleted the app from my phone and all the contacts i made for it, i connected via bluetooth and no more auto resetting! i can live without the avic feeds app
VBLUE42
That still doesn't seem to be a common problem with people that have the iPhone app. Maybe try and install the app again and see if you still get the problem.
