This will be my first time installing a headunit, so I need all the help I can get! Does anyone know where I can find the VSS and Reverse wires on the 2002 Acura RSX base? CaptainInsaneO Posted April 6, 2010 Report Share Posted April 6, 2010 The VSS will be one of two wires, each depending on whether you drive a manual or automatic. Manual: Connector A on the ECM, pin 18 (White/Green) Automatic: Connector E on the PCM, pin 25 (Blue/White) Both of these modules are behind the glove box. As for the reverse lead, I think it only matters to hook it up if you are planning on using a reverse camera. There are a couple different ways to do it, some guys find a reverse wire on the ECM, others just hook into the backup lights. Basically whatever wire sends a pulse when the vehicle is in reverse will work.
