Flapjack
I've finally had it with my POS iPod. Not only are the Z1/Z2/Z3 controls on the unit absolutely useless, iPod Classic frequently crashes on me and needs to be "restored". I made the decision to get a Zune HD and haven't been happier. The only issue is hooking it to my Z1 (hacked to Z3). I could care less about charging, video, digital input, etc... I just want a regular audio (2.5mm?) cable I can run from the back of the unit somewhere convenient so I can hook up the Zune and control from the Zune itself. I'm currently using an FM adapter, which is ok... but gets random interference. After reading this thread, it looks like I need some sort of adapter: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=22531&p=153049&hilit=audio+input#p153049 I currently have the XM tuner, the BT adapter, and the iPod controller. From what I understand, I can just plug an A/V adapter into the NavTraffic port and run the Zune on the Auxillary channel. Is that correct? Would it be much more difficult to find a Zune cable to y/r/w RCA cable to plug in? Any advice would be really appreciated.
