jayshahu
I have a 09 RAV4 non LBL system. I installed the Z110BT but I have a problem with the speakers cracking. Its not a hiss rather a cracking noise 1) I have now conncted the reverse gear wire to the red wire ( backup lights) on the driver side fuse box. 2) The VSS is connected to the purple on the BLUE connector for the Toyota RAV4 3) The mute wire was moved to one slot over ( I cut the harness using a razor blade and removed the mute wire ) I just couldn't pop it out. The bypass works fine. 4) Cut the green wire in half (hand brake wire) . Twisted one half to the ground on the toyota harness and twisted the other end to the ground wire on on the Pioneer harness and then butt connected then together. jayshahu
Figured it out. The rear left speaker negative connector had a bent pin on the scosche harness which was causing the problem. Once the connector was properly seated the problem was corected.
