DennisOS2
This is probably been discussed before, BUT ............... when I start the car ('97 3000GT VR4) I get an error message: '.............. system detected improper connection with parking brake ...... ' Everything works, but would like to get this resolved. The installers did put a parking brake bypass switch in, but I get the message regardless of the switch postion. Installer says they get this on just the Mitsubishi's. Any thought on this. Thanks. Dennis

The Z1 should not have a parking brake bypass switch. You want to bypass it with these instructions: http://www.sminntech.com/z1flash.html You can get rid of the parking brake warning with the recessed reset button to the right of the eject button. But it will come right back the next time you use that parking brake switch in motion.
