sooner Posted December 11, 2006 Report Share Posted December 11, 2006 I just purchased an 06' Navigator and the dealership installed the Z1. Not to inpressed with the install. Not sure the VSS wire is hooked up yet. Went back a second time to get steering wheel control hooked up. The only thing I can control from my steering wheel is the volume on the AV unit. I have read on here that you can reprogram the controls to do any of the functions you need. How is this done? Is it in the car manual? Dealership absolutely refused to bypass the brake system as so did two other Car Toys shop in the Dallas, Tx area. Does anyone know of a shop in the DFW area that will do it?
