D3 ipod charging

I bought a new ipod nano and my D3 won't charge it anymore. Is there a new ipod cable I need for it?

 

 

Also, has the MT90 update changed the keyboard to QWERTY? I'd love to see that change.

some people have had luck with the pass-through devices that plug into the cable then plug into the ipod, the scosche passport is one that does not work

I disagree sir, I have the passport on my 5th Gen Nano and it works perfectly. Got it at a Target in Niagara NY

Also, the new map discs do not change the Keyboard. ALl they did was give us updated maps on these discs. Hopefully the 2010 discs, CMD-100 or whatever they are called will be an UPGRADE disce and not just a map disc.

There will be no further updates for these units. All you will get is map upgrades.

they might have made an up date to them since they first came out, because there are two employees at my store that have all tried them with there D3's with no luck, before finding other brands that do. (one person when through four or five different Ebay versions before they found something that worked)
