X920BT Nav address contact search help

Hey There,

I have over 300 contacts that I need to store in my NAV favorites list. Problem. There is no "search" field in the Favorites section so the only way I can sort through my contacts to find the right address is by the "sort" field which is alphabetical etc. There is a search field for the POI but I can't store my contacts as POI's.

 

How do I get around this. It sucks having to type in every address I want to go to manually each time.

Your going to have to enter all of your contacts in as favorites on the unit.

I realize that is probably my only option. However, the main issue with this is when I have 300+ favorites stored in my Nav there is no way I can quickly search for a particular contact (Example: Searching for "Chad Smith" can only be done by sorting alphabetically and then scrolling down page after page after page etc.) .... unless you know of a quicker way??

Well if your just trying to call that person then use VR. If not there is no other way sense there is no feature to do what you are trying to do other then what you have already done.
