timhunold
Feeds, no, I am curious about bluetooth, using phone-based contacts, etc... I am no fan of Feeds.
VBLUE42
Presumably yes. As long as the phone will allow the unit to pull its contacts it shouldn't be a problem. Some phones however will only allow you to push the contacts from the phone which may be a problem, with the unit. If I remember correctly however, several people on this site have reported that the Android phones work fine.
timhunold
sweet, that would make life easier for me. I like the hotspot functionality of the phone, because I am already streaming pandora to the car via Sprint's 4g.
thedak1
I have not used it yet (since I don't have a mic with my HU) but there is a bluetooth app that will let you push your contacts. You can try that and see how it works. Â I will try the app later and report back if it works.
thedak1
I just went out to my truck and the app (Bluetooth File Transfer) worked like a charm on pushing the contacts to the HU. Now to find a compatible mic or a better mic than the one that comes with the HU.
