supermixer
Hey everyone I've got a Z110BT w/ an older iPod (60GB) in my SUV. Occasionally after i park my truck @ my houe for the evening, i'll be listening to XM, a CD or sometimes AM/FM. Then in the morning, when i start up my truck, the z110 unit starts to boot up normally and either Xm , cd or am/fm come on if i was listening to it the previous day, then the z110 changes itself to the iPod and it starts playing. Anyone ever experience this? I thought it may be the connection to the iPod or to the back of the unit. I had the unit checked out about a week ago and had the installer take a look and all appeared to be OK. I am using the correct Pioneer cable that is needed to play the iPod but not sure what else may be causing this. It never happened when i had my Z1/Z3 unit so i'm wondering if there's a glitch somewhere. Maybe the update to the Z120 will fix this problem ..
VBLUE42
The upgrade will likely do nothing for this. It just happens with some iPods and something your going to have to live with or consider getting a newer ipod. If your iPod reboots every time you start your car, that could be causing the problem.
