sacheen Posted December 16, 2006 Report Share Posted December 16, 2006 Just bought an used z1 off EBAY... I have only a couple of days to check if it is working.. How do I easily hook it up to check if its working... I didnt receive all the wires.. However i do have the power wire. To test just if it boots up and visually okay...do i only have to connect the yellow (power) wire and the black (ground wire). Do I have to connect anything else.? Can i just take out my current head unit, splice the power wire and ground wire and connect those to the Z1? I will definately disconnect the ground wire from the battery before doing any of this..
