I just installed the x910bt into a 2000 audi a6. I have a terriable humming noise when the rca for the speakers are pluged in I have the metra wiring harness for a factory amped bose unit . I performed a bypass and only had 5 wires i had to solder on the kit , postive,negative,memory,illumination,and amp signal wire. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

steel2040 Posted June 12, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 12, 2010 Thanks for the quick reply any way ya i have tried one i have tried 4 it comes out of any one i hook an rca into and its not so much a hum but the sound of power maybe?. oldracer Posted May 2, 2013 Report Share Posted May 2, 2013 You might want to check the resistance on each cable between the center pin and the outer rim on each RCA plug. I am guessing one or more has bad insulation. Be sure to unplug the connector from the head unit before you test the plugs. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
