superninja79 Posted June 13, 2010 Report Share Posted June 13, 2010 Hello Forum, I previously had an Avic D3 and have upgraded to the X920. I had both installed by a professional shop. The Avic D3 used to switch automatically to night mode when the headlights came on. Now that the X920 has been installed, it just stays really bright and does not change after the headlights come on. I'm not a noob and did my own wiring bypass on the D3. I just need help locating the illumination wire on my 2005 Tahoe. Has anyone done this illumination wire install and have pictures?
