z3noles
I just made the plunge into the new z120bt and overall the stereo performance is awesome. My only issue with the unit is ... the Sirius radio interface (using SC-C1 and CD-SB10 adaptor) is a joke compared to the XM setup on the z120bt. With the sirius radio setup you can only view one piece of information at a time and you have to press the display button to toggle between station #, channel name, band name, or song name. XM provides all of this on the screen at one time (which should be the freaking standard in 2010). In addition, Sirius provides no channel logos and XM does. And finally, the sirius presets names never change once you have set them. so when I go to the preset screen they simply say "P. CH1, P. CH2, P.CH3" even though they have all been set. if you want to use all three pages of presets you better have a great memory to figure out which ones are what stations. I am going to check out XM and see if its worth making the switch. I Should have done more research. Hopefully this helps someone who has taken the time to do some. I am a complete newby so if I got this wrong please let me have it.
rgarjr
U should have done your homework before getting Sirius. The XM interface is nicely laid out (has big channel logo art) on the 110bt.
VBLUE42
And its been this way for years with the Sirius interface.
bwolfe
For years I had both. I like the sound quality of Sirius better, but XM won hands down for the interface. Once they merged, I killed off my Sirius account and kept the XM.
z3noles
I agree that I should have researched this before buying but Dang. I've had different sat radio for years now and this is the worst setup I've owned and it's in the most expensive stereo by far. Not to mention it's freaking 2010 and Buck Rogers lauched into space like 11+ years ago and this is the tech that sirius has to offer? My old FM radio can do better!!!! not only that the sirius setup cost more than the xm!!! anyway, I still like the z120bt but will likely make the switch to xm once i recover from all this. all good Buyer Beware.
