ebbro Posted July 7, 2010 Report Share Posted July 7, 2010 I've had my Avic 700bt for nearly two years w/ no problems. I upgraded to the most recent firmware many months ago, whenever it was released. Today I got a fatal application error while the unit was starting up. I didn't have time to read it all before the unit shut down, so I don't know the details. I've tried restarting it - the splash screen comes up for a bit and then the unit just shuts down w/ no message. Searching on the forum it seems most of the errors that result in similar shut down happen during the firmware update, which is not my case.
