BillE Posted December 19, 2006 Report Share Posted December 19, 2006 Just finished installing my Z-1 (What Fun) and am having problems. First when the unit starts it says "Bluetooth Active", but when I go to the phone menu I can not select any buttons except for phone book, which is empty. When I try to register my phone my cell phone sees the AVIC but when I put in default password 1111 it will not accept me. Any ideas, what I am doing wrong. I try to follow the manual instructions but when the buttons are not pressable things do not work out. Also how do you turn the unit off while driving? Set the time? tillithz Posted December 19, 2006 Report Share Posted December 19, 2006 time is auto I believe. turn off by pressing and holding the av button, thatll silence the unit. but ifyou want to make the display shut down you can press and hold the v button. while the screen turns off, the unit can still be producing sound while the screen is off. as for the bluetooth I dont know, I dont recall the paring setup, I didnt read the manual for that, I just used my common sense and connected. some phones are very compatible with this btw. But hold down AV to source off. If your time is off by an hour or two or three, it can be adjusted in the navigation menu Quote Link to post Share on other sites
