GoodRevs
I'm afraid I may have blown the PICO fuse on my avic. I've heard to "fix" this, people have grounded their RCA's. How exactly does one go about doing this on an avic being that there aren't any RCA plugs in the back of the unit. Am I to wrap wire around where the RCA's on the avic's harness meet the RCA plugs on the cars harness and then run the wire to a screw on the avic? Is there any danger to doing this? Thanks very much
GoodRevs
Bump. Anyone? I'd like to square this away before I take a road trip next week.
rgarjr
Dunno why you have to ground the outside of the RCA, but I guess you can try soldering a wire to the outer ring of the RCA cable if you wish.
