thefarmer Posted August 9, 2010 Report Share Posted August 9, 2010 Hi, I'm not sure if this is the same for all phones connecting via BT to Avic F500, but i only have an iphone. When I import contacts from the iphone, it files everything as surname, firstname. Is there a way to change this? If i want to ring John Smith, he would show up as Smith John. Also..not sure if this makes any difference...my iphone imports it's contacts from Outlook, however it shows the names correctly in it's address book though e.g John Smith. It's during the import phase on the Avic where it seems to go wrong. Any ideas? thnx. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
vfjdesign Posted August 9, 2010 Report Share Posted August 9, 2010 Hi, There are several posts about this in the z110/120 forum, It is an issue with the iphone ios4.0 I did not upgrade my 3g for several reasons and it imports properly....The short of it is, people have reported re entering all contacts under the first name field and leaving last name and company blank. They say it works. Sucks that apple is having all these problems (sounds a lot like Microsoft's vista) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
