Ultramax04
This was easy, started off with the terrible buzzing sound though. Cofirmed it to be a grounding problem by using a drop cord from the house and the noise went away. To solve the problem I've temporairly took a peice of wire and pushed it i the A/V slot on the back of thte PS2 and grounded it to the floor of the truck. Noise went away instantly and everything is working fine. DVD playback and gaming, screen color and detail is more than I expected. I've got one of the old PS2's, but hopefully I can get one of the new ones that is much smaller and place it inside my center console. I would like to hard wire the inverter which I've read is supposed to eliminate the static/buzz. Could I just run a constant 12V to a toggle switch inside this console and use it to control this PS2, and run the negative side of the inverter to the floor?
