All upgrades are done with an SD card. There stored on internal flash memory. Yeah, I assumed that the maps would be the most current. I just wanted to know how they would be updated. Currently use a DVD to update my AVIC -D1 and the disc must be in the unit to use Nav. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
