Nuje Posted April 2, 2011 Report Share Posted April 2, 2011 No I doubt the multitasking on the iPad will make a huge difference in battery life. Of course it will impact it some, but the battery in the iPad is much bigger in capacity the what you get with an iPhone/iPod. That is the biggest reason for the shorter battery life. We will soon see however if the battery life with the iPad begins to shorten we will see many reports of it I am sure. I know this is an ancient thread, but just to be clear on the iPad, when you're seeing NOT CHARGING on the iPad, it's simply not receiving enough juice to charge, but it is receiving some power. It gets enough power to charge if the display is off and it's not doing anything; enough to hold current charge state if the screen is lit up or delivering music or whatever.
