I wish that you did not have to start the maps so that VR would work. I wonder if this could be fixed with an update. Does anyone here have any info on any new firmware updates? I guess my question is: why can't the VR engine simply initiate at startup? Why does it have to be tied to the GPS maps at all? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
VBLUE42 Posted November 14, 2010 Report Share Posted November 14, 2010 Well asking as to why Pioneer makes some of the stupid decisions they make will never really get you an answer. Clearly they want to force you into reading that long message so they cover their ass from liabilities. They could have designed it so it would just take you to that screen when you hit the VR button but they didn't. As stupid as it is it still works better then it did.
