jmpratt
I just installed an X920BT in my 2006 Ford F250. Everything works fine, except the volume is super low. It sounds like a preamp level output. All four (stock) speakers are connected to the correct source as the fade/balance controls work correctly. The volume is low on all audio sources (iPod, DVD, navigation). Any ideas?
jmpratt
I forgot to mention, the mute is not on.

jmpratt
I figured it out. What's the mostly likely reason it would sound like the speakers are connected to the pre-outs? Because they are. I didn't notice the amplified output wires. I just hooked the speakers up to the RCA connectors which are the pre-outs. Oh, well. It only took a week and a half to figure it out. 1loudls
of well, even though it was a rookie mistake, at least it was easy (and cheap) to fix
