Dave1
Just got a new AVH-P4200DVD installed today in my Accord, I noticed that when watching a movie there's a little shake or vibration in the screen. Out of video the screen is solid with no problems. Any suggestions on what that could be? Also, any way to enhance the album art resolution? Very pixelated and grainy. Any help or thoughts are welcomed and appreciated.

VBLUE42
There is no 5th gen Touch. Which firmware?
Dave1
Sorry a little confused on the models. 2nd gen Ipod touch. As far as firmware I'm not entirely sure, just bought the unit from crutchfield as of friday last week. How would I go by checking that? Also, I am using the standard Apple cable plugged into the USB, is there a difference between that and the CD-IU200V? What is the CD-U200V for? VBLUE42
Which firmware for the Touch? And you need to be using the Pioneer iPod cable. Pioneer's web site will tell you which cable you need.
Dave1
Just updated as of the first of the month. Will be ordering Pioneer's cable and will update the situation when possible. Any ideas on the shaking or vibration when playing a dvd? I also have a AVH-P5700DVD with the Vehicle Data Processor installed and I noticed it does the same thing. Almost like a light flicker on the edges of the screen and the graphics. Any insight?
VBLUE42
It's hard to picture what you are describing without seeing it. Try and post bid if you can. It sounds like a hardware defect though.
Dave1
Basically whenever I am not in DVD mode the screen is perfectly fine. However, in DVD mode the screen has a constant distortion. I've noticed it happens around the border of the screen, and if I happen to be in the movies top menu the highlighted option will have said distortion. The best was to dicribe it is a buzz or flicker around the border and around the highlighted option. I know this happens with audio when you run a power source next to the RCA inputs. When you say hardware defect I would run with that however, same problem in two different units years apart?
