Riddla Posted December 25, 2010 Report Share Posted December 25, 2010 How's it going guys? New to the forum. I recently purchased a used AVIC D3 from a guy in a forum i post on. Had a shop insall it along with a complete audio system. Everything works good except the Navigation discs. When I insert it i get the following messege ''Insert appropiate disc''. I can play cd/dvds just fine. Any ideas on what can it be? I did search the forum but i still couldnt find an answer. Thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I have the same problem on my. I found that the new CNDV100 2010 is just an update. You need to have an old working cd to make it work. Which I'm still looking for the solution myself. elkay Posted February 18, 2011 Report Share Posted February 18, 2011 just got a used D1 on ebay. at first it just said it had that error then it started clunking inside the dvd rom and wouldnt eject had to use some needle nose pliers to get it out dont suppose anyone has a spare dvdrom for the unit kickin around theyd part w?
