scott65
Sorry if this has been asked before, I've searched and couldn't find anything. I put my D3 in last night and I get random pulsing noises out of the subs. I tried hooking them to the sub output and the rear output channel, both create the same noise. It comes and goes, seems like lots of bass set it off and I have to turn it all the way down to get it to stop. Since both outputs cause it, it would seem that its being caused by something else, but I've had the same amp and speakers in the truck for a long time with the factory radio and an aftermarket one and neither caused this. It only started last night with the D3 install. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated
mtyler7807
Hook the subs back up to the sub out and go on the radio disable the sub out. If it still makes the sound then it is the deck. Also see if you could hook another radio to it to see if it still makes the sound.
1loudls
well the noise is either coming from a defective unit, a cable that is picking up the noise from somewhere else, or a defective amp. you will have to do some trouble shooting and substitutions to figure it out.
