04gotgoat?
Ok...I succesfully updated my Z-1 with the bluetooth fix. I have wired the bypass using the cell phone mute and light green wire to ground. Did a reset and still I am not able to unlock the security features....Any suggestions. cntrylvr79
Yeah you 've got a bad connection. Make sure the secret pin is completely inserted, since that's the one that plauges most people.

There are 2 connections which need to be grounded. While cntrylvr79 is right that connector 2 is what most people have issues with... Grounding the parking brake will unlock the security features. Grounding the connector 2 keeps the Z1 from yelling at you when you start moving and keeps what grounding the parking brake working while moving. Which part are you having problems with will tell you which wire to check. If while parked the lockouts are still there, it's a problem with the parking brake wire not grounded. If it is fine parked but when you start moving it pops up a warning message about the parking brake and then locks you out again, then it's the wire in connector 2.
